Yet another great performance in the final round of the Octopus league saw us finish 3rd on the night, with a fantastic 21 PBs.

Overall we finished the 2010 league in 3rd place, just 2 points behind this year's winner. Well done to every swimmer that competed in the league this year, in all 6 rounds we finished in the top 3.

Congratulations to the following swimmers for winning their individual event or breaking the time limit; Lily Rayner (25m Freestyle), Aaron McClean (25m Freestyle), Eddie Ashworth (25m Backstroke), Lucy Sidey (50m Breaststroke), Christian Timms (25m Backstroke), Amy Jeffreys (25m Breaststroke), Jo Lucas (25m Breaststroke), Oliver Dovey (50m Backstroke), Eleanor Trew (25m Freestyle) and Joshua Reynolds (50m Breaststroke).

Well done also to all those swimmers that achieved a PB; Lily Rayner, Aaron McClean, Georgina Piper, Eddie Ashworth, Lucy Sidey, Matthew Ruiz, Chloe Stephens, Emily Norris, Jo Lucas, Christian Timms, Katie Lockwood, Laura Potts, George Carter, Amy Jeffreys, Emma Cape, Abigail Pettyfer, James McGruer, Eleanor Trew, Robert Sidey, Matthew Knight and Emma Potts.

With such good performance we can look forward to 2011.

Well done also to all those swimmers that achieved a PB or broke the time limit; Francesca Powell, Aaron McClean, Georgina Ward, James Punnett, Lucy Sidey, Matthew Ruiz, Cameron Butler, Charlotte Doyle, Matthew Rogers, Ella Davies, Joshua Mogford, Alexander Din, Grace Onder, Michael Eagling, Georgina Piper, Joel Woodward, Matthew Knight, Abigail Ware, Matthew Clarke, Robert Sidey, Jade Hewitt, Oliver Eason, Sallt Walsh and Luke Gentle.

This is our strongest start to the Octopus league for a few years, so well done to everyone that has competed so far. We are currently 3rd in the league, equal on points with Eltham who are in 2nd place.
